After the splint was removed, I spent a hellish week because of the shape and swelling I had never expected, and today I had early removal done. During that one week, all sorts of thoughts came to me, and I blamed myself and regretted things tens of thousands of times in that short week, thinking that I was really being punished and that I had not loved myself enough all this time. Since it has been removed, my mind feels so at ease for now. I can see the shape after removal in a week, but still, my mental health is so good right now. This incident became an opportunity for me to love everything about my body, even the parts I used to hate intensely …
