I had surgery in January 2015, so it’s almost been 10 years now, and I’m planning to have both the silicone and auricular cartilage fully removed. It seems like the auricular cartilage was raised excessively, so my nasal tip looks way too upturned. If I remove this raised auricular cartilage, will the nasal tip return to my original nose? ㅠㅠ Or do I need septal extension? ㅠㅠ For now, the doctor says removal alone will make it go back... but I’m wondering whether a nasal tip that has been lifted for 10 years will really go back just by removing the cartilage ㅠㅠㅠ For those who had removal after more than 10 years, how was it?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
