I’m really frustrated. I’m almost 4 months post-op now, and there isn’t just one or two side effects. I feel so suffocated I could die because I don’t know where to even start fixing this. I lived without rhinitis, but they said my septum was slightly deviated to the left and that they would correct the septum, so I thought they were just straightening what was crooked. I didn’t know they were going to touch the inferior turbinate, and when they mentioned something about actual-expense insurance, I thought it sounded good and went ahead with it. But from 3 weeks after surgery, I’ve had empty nose symptoms: nasal dryness, postnasal drip, when my nose is blocked it’s tightly blocked, and when it opens it opens wide so my nose feels cold, my nose stings, my mucous membrane feels pulled, and there’s pulling at the columella incision line.
