Hi, I’m now almost at the 1-year mark after my first rhinoplasty. The materials used were silicone, 2 pieces of donated costal cartilage, and septal cartilage. People here who didn’t use septal cartilage have a different situation from mine, so I won’t share information with them. I’m asking only people who used at least silicone, donated costal cartilage, and septal cartilage or more, and who personally went to removal consultations after at least 6 months post-op. If you look at my older posts you’ll know, but my first surgery failed, I developed functional problems and mental health issues, so I’m thinking of removal as truly the last step and want to do as much in-person research as possible to do it safely. I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
