<Below is before surgery^^> It’s almost been 9 months since my cheekbone surgery. I had it done on August 30 last year... it’ll be 9 months soon. I had a scalp incision. Actually, I still log into this community once every 2 or 3 days, because there are people who send me messages, and I feel a sense of obligation to reply^^ For now, my work still has some leeway, so I can access this place, but from the second half of the year I think I’ll be a bit busy, so I probably won’t be able to come in^^ I’m uploading photos for the first time in a while. I can’t find any pre-op photos that were taken very clearly....;;;; So it may not be a definite comparison, (my face that was wide sideways became somewhat narrower, and the 45-degree cheekbones improved a lot) but I’m uploading them in case they can still be helpful. Some of you said through messages that you wanted to see photos. The digital ID-style photo taken in a beige long-sleeved top is the most recent photo, taken a few days ago. The photo below that is from before orthodontic treatment and also before cheekbone surgery, and it’s a photo from about 5 years ago^^ It was taken with a film camera, so it’s a bit less realistic than a digital camera photo. In real life, my cheekbones protruded much more than they appear in the photo. After having cheekbone surgery myself, I’d say cheekbone contouring is not really a surgery that completely changes your face. But it definitely has the effect of making you look softer. Before surgery, my face looked extremely gaunt, but now that’s gone. Sometimes I wonder if I could have just lived without doing it... but I still don’t regret it. I worried about it a lot and chose carefully, and hats and sunglasses look incomparably better on me than before surgery... haha Thanks to that, I think I may be able to spend this summer more enjoyably than last summer. Please don’t have fantasies about facial contouring... If, like me, you simply expect an effect that makes things a little better, I think it’s worth trying once. However, choose the hospital very carefully... because I’ve seen cases where a failed surgery made even revision surgery impossible..... I’ll write about that case in the facial contouring review section.
