Just like the title says, I'm thinking of removing it because the foreign body sensation is bothering me and the shape is too pointy and artificial. I'm debating between a hospital that says we should remove the nasal tip cartilage but leave the support strut to keep the shape natural, and a hospital that says we should remove both the support strut and nasal tip cartilage, tie things together, then place a little of the septal cartilage I used on top to shape it. I have some confidence in both in terms of shape, so I want to choose the option with less foreign body sensation. If I leave the columellar strut, would the foreign body sensation stay the same? ㅠㅠ I want to decide by tomorrow.
