After 6 months passed, I developed a foreign-body sensation from the silicone and something like an abnormal reaction. I don’t know for sure whether the silicone was the cause, but it happened after my rhinoplasty. I removed the silicone, and to match it with the nasal tip, they put the ear cartilage that had been in my nasal tip into the nasal bridge. Is there anyone who, like me, had ear cartilage put in the nasal bridge? I hear a lot that ear cartilage gets absorbed, so I’m worried a step-off deformity might develop laterㅜ Somehow, from the side, it looks like the area where the ear cartilage was inserted is sticking out, so it seems noticeable, but I also wonder if it’s swelling ㅠ It hasn’t even been two weeks since I had it done, so I don’t know. But after removing the silicone, it definitely feels comfortable…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
