It’s been almost 20 years since I had rhinoplasty, and I’m sure an L-shaped silicone implant and ear cartilage were used. But I don’t know whether septal cartilage was used or not. If an L-shaped implant is used, is septal cartilage usually not used? I’m scheduled to have removal and revision surgery this time, so I’m really curious whether my septal cartilage is intact.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
