Absorption of donated rib cartilage

They say autologous costal cartilage is the best, but because I have keloid-prone skin, I want to use donated rib cartilage as much as possible. Every clinic recommends autologous costal cartilage, saying it is the best, so I did book with autologous costal cartilage, but I’m still debating. Will it absorb a lot? I originally used ear cartilage and septal cartilage, but the ear cartilage absorbed a lot and collapsed downward, so I have to use costal cartilage. Since everyone says autologous rather than donated For those who have tried it, is the difference in absorption severe?
