Day 9 after complete nasal implant/material removal. I had septal double extension, cartilage tying, and 2 mm silicone all removed. The advantages are that there is zero foreign-body sensation, so it is comfortable, and I can breathe well. My nostrils are symmetrical, I can breathe well, and I’m grateful that they did a good job repositioning the cartilage. The downside is that although swelling is naturally expected on day 9, I look less attractive. When silicone is placed, the nasal bridge is shaved slightly, right? So the glabella area of my nasal bridge has become flat. It’s flattened. The nasal tip area only seems to have become a little lower, maybe because I had an auricular perichondrium graft.
