In 2022, I had nose surgery with 3 mm silicone and septal cartilage for the nasal tip, but these days I’m thinking about having it removed because of the columellar scar and the smellㅠ From the time I first had the surgery, my scar was white and really distinct. Even now, 3 years later, it’s still very distinct. And as for the smell, at first I thought maybe it was because of nasal crusts, but lately I’ve been thinking that may not be itㅠ The area under my columellar scar became swollen and plump, and the color turned a bit yellowish, and I started thinking the smell might be coming up from that plump areaㅠㅠ When I wash my face or brush my teeth and brush against that spot, the smell suddenly comes up…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
