It seems like many people who had removal did it because of contracture or inflammation. Is donated costal cartilage the main cause, or silicone? I’m planning to book surgery, but the doctors’ recommendations vary so much. Some say donated costal cartilage is fine these days because it’s been commercialized as a product, but I’m worried because there seem to be many cases of contracture and inflammation.
