I’m on day 9 after surgery, and I was so shocked when the splint came off on day 7ㅠ I had osteotomy, ear cartilage support strut, nasal tip cartilage graft, and cap grafting done, but my bulbous nose got reduced too much and my nasal tip became too high, so it doesn’t feel like my face. Yesterday, on day 8, I rushed in for a consultation. I felt it would be a waste to remove everything and just wanted to lower the height a little, so I asked if they could shorten the support strut a bit to lower the nasal tip, but they said adjusting the height that way isn’t possible and that only removal is possible. I don’t know why, maybe they just don’t want the hassleㅠ When I said it felt like a waste, they said they’d leave the ear cartilage cap graft in place.
