My nose was originally short, small, and upturned. So 3 years ago, I had septal extension with silicone and ear cartilage, but a step-off developed, and I was worried about inflammation and there was show-through, so I got consultations to have it removed ㅠㅠ 1 I went to ㅍㄹㅁ, and they said even though it’s only been 3 years, at this point it needs to be taken out. They said this is show-through that usually appears after about 10 years in other people, and if it’s like this, contracture will come within 5 years. They said my nose was so small that I shouldn’t have had surgery in the first place, which was really scaryㅎ They said the silicone absolutely has to be removed, and the septum can be left in place and repositioned to lower the nasal tip.
