I had surgery yesterday and came in for disinfection. I wasn’t as swollen as I expected, and I could breathe well, so I felt like I could live again. After disinfection, they removed the gauze under my nose too, and during the consultation with the director, they showed me photos taken during surgery of the removed scar tissue, the silicone, and the inflammation, or more precisely, the pus that had been packed inside. The capsule had hypertrophied, so it was extremely thick. I can’t believe something like that was packed into my nasal bridge. It’s almost fortunate that it didn’t protrude along with the silicone… They said the actual silicone was thin, and there was yellow pus around the silicone with the capsule surrounding it. My splint removal is next week, and my nose…
