I’m thinking about rhinoplasty, but one hospital says my septal cartilage is small so we should use ear cartilage, while another hospital says my septal cartilage is small so we should use costal cartilage. Everyone says something different. Some people say for a first surgery, using ear cartilage is the right choice, while others say ear cartilage will droop later, so use costal cartilage. For a first surgery, which cartilage is usually used most often? Also, is donated costal cartilage not very good?
