My contracted nose progressed gradually after rhinoplasty. Unlike other people, I didn’t have symptoms like redness, swelling, pain, or deviation, and it slowly pulled upward over a long time, so I didn’t notice it at first. When I started suspecting contraction about a year later, I was pregnant, then gave birth and was raising a child, so I couldn’t even dream of revision surgery and just lived feeling depressed with low self-esteem. Now it’s a very severe pig-like upturned nose. My original natural nose was large and high, with large nostrils, a slight hump, and a lot of soft tissue on the nose.
