I had revision surgery at a clinic, and because of contracture, they removed the silicone capsule and scar tissue, then lowered the nasal tip using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. They said they would look at the condition of the septal cartilage and decide whether to reuse it, and I guess it was okay. But because of swelling on the nasal bridge, I don’t really feel any sense of loss yet. How long does it take for the swelling between the eyebrows to fully go down? It’s just very slightly lower than before, and still higher than my original nose. I’ve also heard people say that once the swelling goes down it can become bumpy, so I’m watching it just in case. But I heard that after removal surgery, you’re not supposed to go for walks. Is that right?
