I had my hump shaved down and surgery with 3 mm silicone, but recently I had slight inflammation, and after taking antibiotics it did get better. But it’s just uncomfortable, and I’m worried inflammation might come back for no reason, so I want to remove it. Right now there’s no inflammation and everything is fine, but when I told the hospital where I had surgery that I want to remove it, they said it’s fine now so they don’t recommend removing it, and tried to talk me out of it, saying not to remove it. They also said if I remove it, my nose could end up upturned, but looking at reviews here, it doesn’t seem like that’s the case. If I remove 3 mm silicone, could my nose become severely upturned?
