I had my last nose surgery in 2008 and had a total of 2 surgeries. But now contracture has progressed a bit, so my nose is lifted a lot and the silicone is showing through, and I think it’s time to remove the silicone now. I had consultations at 4 or 5 places, and among them, excluding places that use donated costal cartilage or donated dermis, at Yos, Dr. Yecho suggested proceeding with autologous dermis for the nasal dorsum and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and at Etj, Dr. Choi M.S. suggested removing the nasal silicone and using only ear cartilage and septal cartilage for the nasal tip, so I’m really so torn…
