I’m an office worker, and the problem is that my job involves public-facing service, so I have to meet people constantly. That’s why I need to have surgery during vacation season, either summer or winter, but after removal surgery I also don’t want to meet people, and it’s hard to wear a mask, so it’s really awkward. If I take vacation in winter rather than summer, I can bundle my annual leave and take a longer break, so I want to do it in winter, but I’m also scared that problems like contracture could develop in the meantime, and my confidence in my appearance has gotten so low that I’m torn. I’m also scared people around me will gossip about my changed appearance. Can everyone share your experiences…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
