I had my first surgery this April with autologous costal cartilage and 3.5 mm silicone, and my nose became way too high. I didn’t hear a single good thing from people around me, and I was really dissatisfied with it myself too. I wanted to rationalize it, so I thought it looked okay from the front and a completely side profile, but when I saw my reflection in a car window outside or looked at it from a 45-degree angle, all I could see was my nose. And the biggest thing was that, compared to before surgery, I kept thinking, “What if that person recognizes me as someone whose surgery is obvious?” That thought made me mentally spiral. Because of this, I’ve become withdrawn and don’t want to go outside or meet people, so I haven’t seen my friends even once…
