I’m exactly that case ㅠ Has anyone here experienced this?? I had surgery on 4/30, and around 6/7 the inside of my nose hurt so much that I went in, and they said the mucous membrane was ulcerated. I received treatment twice a week with antibiotic injections, but more and more pus-like discharge started coming out. On 6/28, they didn’t reopen it, but because the mucous membrane was ulcerated, they irrigated the side where the cartilage was visible. The swelling definitely went down and the scar tissue decreased too, so I think it really was inflammation. Whether the mucous membrane became ulcerated because of the inflammation, or the cartilage became exposed to contamination because the mucous membrane ulcerated, we can’t know in the current situation, but right now, the cartilage that was grafted in is melting due to the inflammation, and the line that looked pretty at first is gradually melting down and becoming blunt ㅠㅠ If there are any friends who had inflammation with implant-free autologous costal cartilage like me, could you please share your experiences…
