It’s been about 12 years since I had nose surgery, and as far as I know, they put in silicone, ear cartilage, and Gore-Tex at the time. I’ve lived fine without any problems until now, but over the past week, the columella area suddenly became red, the area where my nose was incised is visibly noticeable, and yellow pus is coming from inside. I’ve lived without any particular issues until now, but can inflammation happen after this much time has passed? I’m flustered. My physical condition wasn’t especially bad either, but this suddenly happened. Oh, I recently changed jobs, and the environment there is a bit bad, so could that be why?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
