My eyes are noticeably uneven! One side has a pronounced outline with a slight overlapping crease, and the other side has a thin in-out line. As I’ve gotten older, they’ve drooped more, so I’m looking into surgery because I want to raise them slightly. I want a refined, natural in-out line, and I’d like the line near the inner corner of the eye to be visible, even if it’s thin.
1. Gangnam ㄷㅂ I saw blog posts and thought this place seemed like it did things naturally, so it was the first place I went. One-doctor clinic. They recommended mandatory ptosis correction + non-incisional double eyelid surgery + medial epicanthoplasty. The doctor speaks in a gentle, slightly tired-sounding tone, but answers questions well when asked.
Even now, I feel like the caruncle is already quite visible on the outline side, so I asked if medial epicanthoplasty would be okay, and they said only a very slight opening, about 0.5, would be enough. But they emphasized fat grafting more lol The consultant was very nice, and there was no pressure to pay a deposit.
2. ㄴㅅㅎ (ㄱㅈㅎ)
The consultant really felt like a slightly toned-down Lush employee, but in a plastic surgery clinic version. I remember her being extremely kind and attentive. There wasn’t much waiting, and it felt like they were really paying attention to me.
In-out non-incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction optional + they recommended an upper epicanthoplasty rather than medial epicanthoplasty.
They only held the line on one eye for me. I did like the line.
3. ㄹㅎ (ㅂㅈㄱ) The day before the consultation, they suddenly pushed back my appointment time, so that felt a bit off. I rescheduled and went.
The consultant was just so-so. She mixed in casual speech midway, which bothered me. The director was a bit chic and straightforward. The type who clearly tells you what can’t be done. This was the only place that held lines on both eyes.

They said the eye with the thin inline crease wouldn’t be able to match the height of making the outline eye into an inline crease.
They said that for it to look natural, it would have to be matched to the thinner line, but the line they held honestly wasn’t very different from now, and I didn’t like it, so my excitement completely cooled off... I wondered whether there was any point in doing it if that was the case.
If I matched to that line, even my other eye, which is originally bigger and prettier, would become thinner and actually... might end up looking worse.
They even said that if I did ptosis correction, the line would become thinner. Ahh... my eyes.
So since my eyes are already very uneven anyway, I asked if they could just do one side, thinking of it as resetting the line, and they said it was possible.
I paid a deposit, but honestly I’m still thinking about it...
I’m thinking of going to ㅇㄹㅇ and ㄸㅋ too before deciding.
But if you do ptosis correction, are there side effects or do people regret it? My eyes are somewhat elegant and soft-looking, so will they end up looking wide-eyed, or will the correction loosen quickly? I feel like I’ve seen some bad reviewsㅠㅠㅠ
People kept saying the fat above my eyes is hollowed out, so I’m practicing opening my eyes with more strength, but should I just replace it with eye exercises instead?
