I had revision rhinoplasty because of a short nose and upturned nose. The scar from the autologous costal cartilage also improved, and as time passed, the hardness at the nasal tip definitely got better from after the 2-month mark. I’m now at 6 months, and I’m living comfortably and satisfied without any inconvenience. After having rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage, I honestly thought I should have just used autologous costal cartilage from the beginning. Honestly, the cost of revision surgery is one thing, but I think if you want the nose you want, the first surgery has to be done well.
