My appointment was originally at two, but they said the doctor hadn't had lunch, so they told me to come by 2:15, and I went,, When I got there, the doctor was still in a consultation, so I met the doctor around 2:40, had another consultation, and talked. Actually, even though I had booked the surgery, I had never consulted with the doctor. Only with the woman at the desk... I have quite a lot of fat in my eyes, but I only did the buried suture method. The doctor said that because the muscles that open my eyes are weak, even if I get double eyelid surgery, my eyes won't become deeply set, and then I got on the operating table. Strangely, I wasn't nervous at all a few days ago or today. As I got on the operating table, I thought about just one thing: I read reviews in a community saying that if you tense your eyes, you'll bruise, so relax your eyes, relax~ relax~~ Just as I was thinking that to myself, they did the anesthesia, and I can usually tolerate most things, but it hurt so much. Without realizing it, I ended up tensing my eyes.. I think I'll probably bruise.. Aside from the anesthetic injections, it doesn't hurt at all~ㅋ I think I got three injections on each side. After the anesthesia, the nurse pressed my eyes firmly for about 10 minutes and then told me the precautions.. I wasn't told they would remove fat, but during the surgery there was a sizzling sound and a bit of a burning smell. Is that fat removal? Anyway, after the anesthesia I didn't know anything, but I could feel the sutures being pulled. They told me to open my eyes, but because of the light above my eyes, it was so dazzling that I couldn't open them properly. When the doctor cupped their hands to block the light, I opened my eyes, and after almost 40 minutes the surgery was over. I went into the recovery room, used an ice pack for 30 minutes, and walked home..ㅋㅋ They had Yoon Jong-shin's radio on in the operating room, so I was singing along in my head, and time went by quickly.ㅋㅋ It doesn't hurt yet, but when I think about the anesthetic injections, I still flinch~ㅋ I'm going in Monday for disinfection, and I'm scheduled to have the stitches removed on Wednesday. They told me to do ice compresses often and keep practicing opening my eyes wide upward. Everyone, use surgery reviews as reference and have a beautiful surgery.
