Hello^^ Many people said my reviews or private messages were helpful, so I feel really rewarded^^ So this time, I'll gather my own experience and advice from inside sources and talk about successful consultation tips for a successful surgery^^ For those seeing my post for the first time, to briefly introduce myself so you can check the credibility of my writing, I work as a nurse at 00 university hospital, and through friends' introductions I had eye surgery and nose surgery at Apgujeong Jㅇ and Bㄴ, respectively^^ I have many inside sources (ㅡ_ㅡ+ friends... ) who work at plastic surgery clinics in Apgujeong-dong, so for the information I heard, I compared and compared it and extracted only the content that was as common and objective as possible. 1. The director doing the consultation is human too! What I mean is, there are cases where people just visit blindly and say, I want to do this and that here and there, can you do it like this? Or they just drop by while passing and ask a few simple questions because they're curious, right? The director is human too. In other words, during the consultation they can tell whether this is a patient who will have surgery at their clinic or just someone passing by. So naturally, they tend to give a more detailed consultation to a patient who has the intention to have surgery at their clinic. That's why, when you go for an in-person consultation, it can be more useful to decide in advance on the clinic where you'll have surgery and receive the consultation assuming you would have surgery at that clinic. Then the director will also take part in the consultation in more detail^^ After all, isn't it unavoidable that they would want to spend more time on a patient who is more serious than on a patient who visits without much sincerity and asks this and that? 2. First, decide for yourself what shape you want! There will probably be many people asking, what does this mean again?? Usually, when having surgery, for double eyelids, people roughly think, if I get double eyelids plus epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty, my eyes will look a bit bigger and prettier, right?? And for the nose, roughly raising it a bit, making the nasal tip stand more neatly, and making it about a ski-slope nose should do, right?? There are really many cases where people consult and have surgery with that kind of thinking! If you're satisfied after doing that, that's fortunate, but if not, that's when things start getting tiring. That's why, before surgery, even if you can't be completely exact, at least! you yourself need to decide to some degree what you want your post-surgery appearance to look like.!! In other words, bring celebrity photos or reference photos that are similar to the post-surgery look you have in mind and consult with them! From the director's standpoint too, rather than just guessing from words, if they can visually confirm the exact shape you want, they can give a more specific consultation about whether it is possible and about better shapes, etc... Because of that, the consultation itself can become a truly useful consultation. If you even bring photos and they still gloss over things and somehow seem insincere, it is better to exclude that clinic. The surgeon performs the surgery. But what sets the direction of that surgery is the patient's request. So a clinic that does not listen to the patient's requests during consultation is often a clinic that lacks respect for the patient themselves. In other words, they don't see the patient as a person, but just as money. 3. Don't be embarrassed or just gloss things over When doing consultations, about half out of ten people just roughly listen to what the director says and can't properly say what they want. These days it's gotten a bit better and decreased to about four out of ten, but if you consult like that, the director gets frustrated and the consultant gets frustrated too. First, the patient needs to accurately say what they want so that the person doing the consultation can give a more accurate and specific answer accordingly. But if the patient is vague as if embarrassed, or cannot express their intentions clearly, and the consultant cannot accurately understand what the patient wants, the consultation itself ends up being vague and glossed over. If the person performing the surgery does surgery without accurately understanding what the person who wants surgery wants?????? How would that be??? I've written about the three main consultation tips that are mentioned most often^^ Just this much should let you make the consultation feel like a real consultation. For now, this part is not about revision surgery, but about consultation for your first surgery. Later I'll also post about consultation when you have revision surgery^^ Also, many people ask which clinics my friends work at^^;; I once told someone, and they apparently told one of my friends that they came after being introduced by me and asked if they could get it a bit cheaper;;; So, um.. that friend got a bit angry with me.. So I won't tell anymore... sob.. ㅜ_ㅠ
