I Regret It So Much

Before/after/after First of all, I regret choosing the wrong clinic so much. 27 years ago, I had an L-shaped silicone implant put in, and bumpy calcification formed along the nasal bridge. Like an avatar nose, it went up to the glabella even though my skin was thin, and it was too high and too long, making me look older. I wanted to redo it with a lower, somewhat shorter glabella and a semi-ski-slope nose, and I also wanted the nasal tip to be sharpened with ear cartilage. I should have searched more carefully and done it at a place that provides thorough consultations and good aftercare, but doing it hastily at Jeongwon was the biggest mistake. The consultation with the doctor was under 3 minutes, and the consultant with the strong dialect was just a salesperson. They did not even take a basic postoperative photo. Even when I briefly saw the director after getting the stitches removed 1 week later, they did not tell me how the surgery had been done or how many millimeters the silicone was, and they said there would be no follow-up visits. The problem was that immediately after surgery, the splint covered only my right eye, so I thought something had gone wrong asymmetrically, but the director only said it went well and that it would take 3 months for the swelling to go down. When making the implant, it looked like they had roughly made it without aligning the nasal bridge on CT; the nasal bridge was clearly crooked. I had emphasized that I wanted the avatar-like high, long glabella to be made a bit shorter and lower into a semi-ski-slope nose, but instead it became even longer and higher, even more of an avatar nose, plus a crooked nose. When I looked into other clinics, I saw that there are many clinics where the director personally gives detailed consultations on blogs and so on, communicates well, and provides good aftercare. Getting revision surgery at a place like Jeongwon, a medical tourism-designated clinic that runs chaotically and has an attitude that surgery is over once they roughly do the operation, was the worst wrong choice.
