As of today, it’s exactly day 10 since I had chin surgery.. It was done through an intraoral incision. Actually, even when I had the bandage removed, other people at the clinic were amazed and said I really wasn’t swollen.. maybe because I managed it well. It’s day 10. From day 8, even without a mask, people couldn’t really tell.. Though I don’t talk much because speaking feels awkward. My side profile has come out quite a bit, and the front view was similar to before surgery, but since two days ago it has become round -. - The problem is, from two days after surgery, while wearing the compression band, I kept asking the people staying at the accommodation who had surgery with me.. whether their front teeth hurt.. It seemed like other people didn’t have much tooth pain.. but my teeth hurt particularly badly,, But after removing the bandage, it was okay for a few days.. Since yesterday, one left canine tooth in particular has been aching and hurting badly ㅠㅜ It also feels looser than the other teeth.. Is it because for a while I only chewed with my front teeth when eating.. or could it really be nerve damage.. Could it be a side effect? I’m so scared ㅠㅜ I’m thinking of asking when I go to get the stitches removed today.. If that’s the case, would I have to have the tooth extracted? Sigh.. Then would I have to suffer from pain for a month until my mouth opens well.. I thought the surgery itself seemed successful in its own way.. p.s. If I don’t put effort into closing my mouth, my lips are together but my teeth are separated vertically. In other words, my jaw doesn’t close tightly. If I consciously close it, I can close it again,, Did this happen to you all too??? Once more of the swelling goes down, I’ll upload photos^^~
