Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I originally had double eyelids, but got incisional double eyelid surgery + posterior canthoplasty (6 months post-op)

I went after a friend recommended it. I don’t think the price was cheap, but I don’t remember exactly. But they took care of everything, including post-op care about a month after surgery.

I originally had double eyelids, but when I opened my eyes wide, they were the kind you could barely tell were there, and my eyes looked so different with and without makeup that it stressed me out a bit.. So I tried making a bigger line with double eyelid tape once, and I liked it, so I kept wearing double eyelid tape. Eventually, I decided to just have the double eyelid line made bigger again and get posterior canthoplasty too. Since it was my eyes, I hesitated a lot, but I feel like I should have made up my mind and had the surgery sooner instead of delaying it for no reason ㅜ

It probably varies by person, but my swelling wasn’t that severe and went down quickly. The director is safety-oriented, so he said he didn’t want to create an excessive line. I also don’t really like eyes that obviously look like they had double eyelid surgery... (maybe even more so because I already had double eyelids)

I’m extremely satisfied with the result. Since I originally had double eyelids, it feels a little unfair that I can see double eyelid surgery marks when I lower my gaze now lol Before, even I thought my eyes looked stuffy, but now they feel more open, so I’m satisfied! Honestly, I do want to get posterior canthoplasty one more time, but I’m worried it’ll be too obvious that there are no eyelashes there lol

Double eyelid surgery really seems like a surgery that can create a big change with truly small cutting(?)!
