It has been 6 days since I had jaw surgery. I can chew and eat rice well, and except for hard and tough foods, I can eat everything by chewing slowly. When I wake up in the morning, my face is very big, but if I move around a little, it shrinks a lot. They say I need to keep doing warm compresses for the facial swelling to go down, but I’m too lazy, so I haven’t been doing it well. I’m going to my in-laws’ house today, and I’m going to say I had a wisdom tooth removed. Now that it’s been about a week, the really major swelling has mostly gone down, so the swelling isn’t severe.
