When I had the silicone removed, they said they filled the step-off area with ear cartilage. But it’s been almost three weeks now, and since week 2 it’s been so itchy and swollen. The clinic where I had surgery says it seems like allergic dermatitis from the putty they gave me to prevent ear cartilage deformation, but honestly it was uncomfortable so I didn’t really wear it. I’m wondering if it’s inflammation of the auricular cartilage membrane or what. Everyone here who had similar symptoms, how long did it take to get better?
