Recently I realized the cartilage is showing through at my nasal tip, and I’m in a panic. It’s been about 14 years since my surgery, and I didn’t know this could happen, so I feel uneasy. Sometimes the area around my nose gets red, but I just thought that was whatever. It’s not extremely frequent. Looking at it now, the silicone is too old, and I don’t even know what was inserted. It also seems like it may be showing through… These days I wear glasses a lot because of work, so I don’t know if it looks that way because they’re pressing on it or what. Anyway, I’m overseas right now, so I’m looking into hospitals and planning to go to Korea. Has anyone had revision surgery because of show-through like me …

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
