I’m only removing the silicone at 4 months post-op. There isn’t a problem with the surgery, but I need to start medical treatment for health reasons, so I’m removing it in order to receive treatment with peace of mind. I feel anxious every day. The surgical clinic said they would remove it while only charging the anesthesia fee. They said they won’t touch the ear cartilage in the nasal tip and will only remove the silicone, but I forgot to ask whether a step-off would develop. I did put in a thin silicone implant of about 15 mm, but I’m curious whether there will be no step-off, and whether there will be no upturned nose even if only the silicone is removed without touching the nasal tip. I’m just starting to recover now, so I’m upset to have to start over againㅠㅠ

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
