I had the surgery on the 29th, and since they count the day after surgery as day 1, today is day 3;; I had it in Seoul, but my home is far from Seoul too, and I didn’t tell my parents, only my boyfriend knew about it, so I went to the hospital alone and just got the surgery done.. When I lay down on the operating table, I was so scared.. The nurses were rushing around... I just lay there and moved only my eyes;; A long while later, I was given anesthesia and when I woke up, it felt like the surgery had taken about two hours.. I was moved to the recovery room with the drain in place, and more than the pain, I felt this sense of accomplishment that I had finally had the surgery!! I lay in the recovery room all afternoon and around evening, I went back to the lodging.. That night, I really couldn’t sleep at all.. My jaw was throbbing and even if I just rested my head against the wall, I felt this sharp, tingling pain around my ears I think I must have gotten up and lain back down dozens of times.. It was truly the most hellish night of my life.. Two days passed and now it’s day 3.. The pain has mostly eased up.. They removed the drain yesterday.. the feeling when they took it out was intense.. lol I thought it was only inserted a little, but it had gone in really deep Ugh.. I really hate that;;ㅋ The doctor said the surgery went well.. Later, the director also said they had really shaved off a lot of bone;; They said, “The surgery went really well~”.. I’m looking forward to it~ Haha, my angle was pretty severe.. from the side too, and from the front too it was broad.. Now there’s no angle from the side, and from the front I look like Dooly because of the swelling.. but once a few days pass, the swelling should go down, right? Still, compared to when it was angular, the lines have become a lot softer~ After getting through such a big ordeal, I feel much lighter now~ I’m so glad to be free from a long-standing complex Oh right!!! I have a question.. The chin strap.. how long do I need to wear this? It was so swollen the day after surgery that it felt suffocating, so I took it off and slept, and yesterday I took it off and slept again;; They say you shouldn’t do that... When can I start eating porridge?? The hospital says absolutely not, so I’m starving.. For those who’ve had the surgery, from your experience, around when would that be okay??
