The director is definitely really good at palpation, and what I was most worried about was whether it was septal extension or just a strut, that was my biggest concern. After touching it, they said it was definitely not an extension technique. They showed me photos of my nose shape and explained why it’s possible to visually check how much septal cartilage was harvested, and they answered each thing I had written down in my notes while writing it all out. Fortunately, since it hasn’t been long since my surgery, I’m in my 6th month, and they said with certainty that there would be no change in nose shape and that if I remove it, it would go back 100% to my original nose, so I really liked that.
