Right now, my columellar strut has drooped, so it’s bulging, my columella has become longer, and the area that touches the columellar skin is protruding whitishly. It seems to have adhered there, so the scar is slightly indented as if it got pinched by a thread When I lie down, one side of my nose gets blocked, so it’s hard. I think I need to get it removed quickly It’s been one year since surgery. It was my first surgery. The procedures were septal extension strut, nasal tip septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. They said they shaved a hump, but I’m not sure if I originally had one. At G.Y.S., for full removal, since it seems like a lot of septal cartilage was harvested, they said they would open it up and see, then reinforce it. When I asked about columellar retraction, they said it would return to my original nose, but after opening it, they would decide whether to insert a minimal amount of strut.
