If the nasal septum is removed, do you get a saddle nose or does the nose collapse?

For my first surgery, silicone, costal cartilage, and septal cartilage were used, and in the second partial removal surgery, the silicone and costal cartilage were removed. But the septal extension is still left, so the inside of my nose still hurts so, so much. It feels like there is a coin standing upright in the middle of my nose, twisted toward my left nostril, and like it is trying to dig into the tissue from the inside. I had the second surgery 6 months after the first one, and this time I'm really debating whether I should just remove the septal cartilage too. But people say that if you remove the septum, you get a saddle nose or the nose collapses. Is that really true …
