I had nose surgery 3 years ago, but I keep feeling like the silicone is showing through my nose, and there’s now a step-off between the nasal tip and the silicone. So after removing the implant, I want to raise only the nasal tip using autologous cartilage or septal cartilage. But since I’ve had silicone in for 3 years, if I remove the silicone, will the skin return to its original state? And I’m worried that contracture might occur. I’m really worried, but there’s no one to tell me, and I feel so frustrated. Please help.
