My line was originally thin, but over time the line became almost completely covered, so I asked about revision surgery. My pupils are also half covered, so if I need ptosis correction, I’m open to that too.

Whether to do incision or non-incision, whether to do upper canthoplasty.. I thought we would discuss and decide what would be better, but they told me to choose everything myself and come back. I said okay for now and ended the consultation with the director. Then I thought I was going to hear the cost, but the consultant said no diagnosis had been given, so they didn’t even tell me an approximate cost. I had gone with a reservation, but the waiting time was huge. They texted me saying there was a wait, so I went expecting that, but after going to other places, I think this place was severe. It seemed like there was no concept of reservations. It was disappointing in many ways.

First, he told me absolutely not to do ptosis correction. The reason was that the distance between my eyes and eyebrows would become narrower. He said he could cut away the sagging skin too, but would only remove a very small amount. He said the skin near the eyelashes is thin and gets thicker as it goes toward the eyebrows, and if too much is cut out, all the thin skin will be removed. So he said that if I want the line to show while giving the upper eyelids a thin look, I should also consider a forehead lift. He said he wasn’t telling me to do it, and incision was possible too, but he was telling me because I fit that case. I was surprised by the forehead lift, which I hadn’t thought of, but I’m conflicted because he was so firm about telling me not to do ptosis correction. I don’t know what the right diagnosis is, whether they’re really someone who will do a good job, or what my eyes will really look like after surgery, so it’s so frustrating! I’m going to visit one or two more places and decide! Going around for consultations is so tiring too. Do people also book a second consultation at places they already consulted? Do people usually book surgery and then have a second consultation? Or do they only talk with the head consultant?! Cost: ㅇㄴㅋ < ㄸㅋ
