If I remove the nasal congestion that developed after nose surgery, will it get better?

I had functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty from an otolaryngology specialist, and honestly, I had been living without much functional discomfort. But I was going to have surgery for cosmetic purposes, and they said my nasal septum was deviated, so I said I would have that operated on too. I thought, I’m just used to it, I’m breathing less than other people, and if I have surgery it’ll get better, not worse. Before surgery, they explained it very simply, so I thought the surgery wouldn’t be very difficult either, but they used autologous costal cartilage, I had general anesthesia, and I think the surgery took almost 7 hours.
