Honestly, I didn’t even know what columellar retraction was, but I learned about it in this community. Ever since I learned that term, I started worrying that my columella looks too recessed. Even when I look at other people’s photos, I can’t really tell. But the funny thing is, when I looked at photos of my original nose, my columella was already short to begin with. Back then I didn’t notice any discomfort, but now even after removal, I’m worrying about every little thing like the columella and whatnot ㅠㅠ I feel like nose surgery is a cycle of obsession.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
