Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I don’t have much inflammation or contracture reaction, so would donated costal cartilage be okay for my second revision rhinoplasty?

I’ve been looking into hospitals for revision rhinoplasty for months, and I need some help. Over 10 years ago, I had silicone and ear cartilage used, but I’ve been living with an avatar-like nose and am only now looking into it lol

There’s a bit of calcification between the silicone and the nasal bone, and I don’t know if it’s because the ear cartilage was my own, but I didn’t really have any inflammation or contracture. Instead, sometimes when I wasn’t feeling well, the tip of my nose would occasionally itch a little, and that was it, so I just lived with it. It was tolerable.

Question: If I use donated costal cartilage, would the chance of an inflammatory reaction be low? Silicone is also a foreign material, but I didn’t really have an inflammatory reaction to it. Aside from some calcification…
