I think residual swelling lasts longer than expected. At the one-month mark I thought a lot of the swelling would go down, but I think the remaining parts at the nasal tip and between the eyebrows will go down only if I manage them well. The place where autologous costal cartilage is harvested usually seems to come out around 1 cm or 2 cm, but mine feels exactly like the size of a pinky joint, or maybe smaller than that. Director Kim Hyun-joo said they would make the surgery small, and I think it should be okay if I manage it well without dryness.
