I've been living with inflammation for 6 years, and now the silicone is visible to the naked eye because of the inflammation. I feel that I need to remove the silicone now, so I'm looking into hospitals. Since the contracture is severe, do I have to have it removed at the place where I originally had my nose surgery? Or, because I've heard that after removing the silicone my nose may not return to its original state, should I have it done at a hospital where I would want to have revision surgery? I'm conflicted. What should I do? I'm worried that the original hospital might mess up the removal surgery too.
