Nose Re-Surgery

Absorption Rate of Postauricular Fascia

I’ve only been going to consultations for nose implant removal, but many places said the implant in my nasal bridge is thick and high, and that if I only remove it, it could suddenly sink in or become dented, so I started wondering if I need to put something back in While looking into it, autologous dermis, donor dermis, and postauricular fascia all came up, but since postauricular fascia is thin, does it get absorbed a lot? Since it’s going to be absorbed anyway, I also wonder if it’s a wise method to cut into the ear or buttocks and create a wound to put in dermis, and donor dermis doesn’t appeal to me either. If I’m going to use dermis, I feel like taking fascia from the ear area might be better than the buttocks, but has anyone had postauricular fascia done…
