I had total nasal implant removal surgery yesterday. Since it was after sedation anesthesia, when I was a bit out of it, they showed me the removed silicone, capsule, and thread. But on the way home, I thought about it and realized they didn’t show me the ear cartilage. But when I had a consultation at another hospital, I was told that the ear cartilage seemed to have resorbed and become much smaller. Among everyone who had total removal, has anyone had their ear cartilage resorb and disappear? I don’t know whether I should ask the hospital when I go to have the splint removed, or just ask by phone.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
