I had my first surgery last June using donated costal cartilage, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage, and it was too high and pointy. I waited because they kept saying it would come down, but the nasal tip stayed the same. So as soon as 6 months passed, in January, they said it would be a simple surgery to trim the nasal tip cartilage. It’s been 2 months now, but it’s still high, breathing feels so stuffy, it’s hard, and in many ways I just want to remove the donated costal cartilage. So I’m looking into revision surgery, and part of me wants to do it somewhere that matches my taste, but it costs too much. The hospital where I had it done said they could remove it after 6 months if I wanted …
