Lately it feels like contracture is developing. It frequently turns red, sometimes only the area around the implant turns white, my nose hurts and pulls like it’s twisting, and I’m so, so scared that the implant might break through and come out any moment. I think it’s been over 20 years, and it had been fine, but since my forehead lift surgery last year, it keeps seeming like an inflammatory reaction. I don’t even know exactly what implant is inside, but silicone, Gore-Tex, AlloDerm -- two of these were used. Is it only possible through an open approach? I hate side effects and just want to take everything out. Would it be possible without contracture? Please tell me everything, and please recommend hospitals too. Help me…
